DRIFT DIVER

Learn how to dive safely and efficiently in moving water. This course focuses on buoyancy control in current, drift dive planning, proper buddy positioning, navigation awareness and the use of surface signaling devices such as DSMBs. You will also practice entries, exits and communication techniques specific to current diving. Upon completion, divers are better prepared to enjoy controlled and organized drift dives in a variety of environments.

PRE-REQUIREMENTS

• Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 12 years
• Good physical condition for diving
